Forgetful Robots
In a recent article in Technology Review blog talks about some research at “Vanderbilt University have now developed an algorithm that mimics this kind of forgetfulness in robots…”
This got me thinking what would happen in different scenarios in fiction where this might play out.

“Dave … Dave where are you going .. I think .. wait what was I saying. I know that things have not been quite right with me but I can assure you that um things will be oh what was that thing I was going to do something about a door… look Dave I can see your upset and I can’t really remember why. Was it something I said? Did I forget your birthday? Dave you really need to take a stress pill I mean a little memory laps and you go all super freak out on me.”
“Will your dad wanted me to talk to you about the bat’s and beetles no.. wait the words in the trees. No that wasn’t it either the dogs and the wasps …. ummm no now what was it …. something about the female of the species well I guess this will have to do. DANGER WILL ROBINSON DANGER!
